Travellers frequently like finding places that can really treat their culinary senses, as they are able to really enjoy some local eateries. Now, people who enjoy sampling famous cuisines may want to consider heading to Ontario, as the province is home to some soon-to-be famous chefs.

The Toronto Sun reports that residents of Guelph, Ontario,  are preparing for a Chef-Off that will be judged by celebrity chef Michael Smith. Those who will be in the area on June 26 will be able to view the Great Local Food Chef-Off, which is sure to give people a sampling of some of the best foods in the area.

This event will be the first offering of its kind of the area, and will be held at the Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre, according to the news provider.

Canoe Travel reports that the chef-off will allow eight local chefs to create their signature dishes in order to be judged by more than 250 guests. This could be a way for new people to the area to figure out where they want to go to eat for dinner.
