Those who are looking for honeymoon travel should explore no further than Turks & Caicos, as one of its islands was recently voted as the top beach destination in the world by a travel website.
The Globe and Mail reports that the tiny island of Providenciales is the world's top beach destination, even beating such famed coastal destinations as Honolulu and Miami.
"A number of factors make these beach destinations stand out as wonderful choices," the website's spokesman Brooke Ferencsik told the news provider. "In addition to featuring remarkable stretches of sand, these hot spots offer a wide variety of quality hotels, restaurants and activities to accommodate virtually any vacation budget, and appeal to any traveller type."
The island is only 38 square-miles and is home to the only conch farm in the world. People who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax in the sand may find that this is the best place to go.
